The battle scenes are not big, but they are just as intense as they are in that other movie. This movie is more about the characters than the battle.

It is as close as you're going to get to actually experiencing combat in a movie. The picture quality is fantastic. The subtitles are easy to read and keep up with so you are not distracted by them as your'e watching the movie.

Even if you do not know a lot about the war between Russian and Finland, you will still enjoy this movie a lot. However, knowing the history makes this movie all the more enjoyable.

I only wish Hollywood would learn from movies like this, that we don't need superhuman type superheroes doing completely unrealistic things in war movies.

Look at how bad Fury went of the rails. It could have been one of the best war movies that came out of Hollywood since Saving Private Ryan. But they blew it at the end.
