Tiny town known for their Monastery and beer, Alpirsbacher Klosterbrauerei, very nice. Ate at the Zwickel, very delicious and fresh, highly recommend!
Enjoyed the glass blowing shop, bought some unique souvenirs. A glass bird, it is beautiful. Took a hike through the Schwarzwald, then drove to the city of Rottweil to explore.
Very nice weekend in Germany! Wonderful small town. Very picturesque. Lots of nature trails in the hilly forests surrounding the town.
In tbe town there are a handful of cafes, bars and restaurants to keep one entertained oh and a mini brewery too!! Clean, safe.
Locals very friendly. Birds singing everywhere. This is a pleasant small village in the heart of the Black Forest. There are a few interesting attractions in the town and it is within an hour's drive to many of the surrounding villages and sights.
It makes an excellent place to get away from some of the more fancied tourist spots while being close enough to visit them during the day.
